Welcome to La Mensa Italian Chophouse
La Mensa is a casual Italian chophouse in a rustic and airy venue in the heart of Dumaguete. All of our steaks are prime USDA Black Angus grade and pan roasted with a compound butter to a perfect medium rare. The steaks are left to rest and served in traditional fashion, well-seasoned with sea salt and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Our pizzas are made fresh and hand stretched on site daily.
We use sustainable practices to the best of our abilities. We are proud to be palm oil free. We provide biodegradable takeaway boxes and straws. All produce is washed in filtered water.

Had the best time in La Mensa with my family. They had the best steaks and pasta and really good martinis and wine. Such a beautiful restaurant too. Not to mention such friendly staff. We’ve been here 3x now and definitely coming back!
Great Food, Awesome Atmosphere and friendly staff! Highly recommend the steaks and desserts. And lots of parking space!
